Welcome to DLSU Forums. By logging in with your official DLSU school account, you agree to comply with the following terms regarding your privacy, platform usage, and posting boundaries.
1. Account Authentication & Privacy Guarantee
Strict Privacy Policy: When you log in using your DLSU school account ending in @dlsu.edu.ph, we only access and store your email address.
- Eligibility: Access is restricted strictly to users authenticating with an active
@dlsu.edu.ph account.
- No Access to Personal Data: We never request access to your account password, contacts, Drive files, personal email messages, Classroom data, or browsing history.
- Identity Verification Only: Your DLSU email address is solely used to verify your active Lasallian status, create your profile, and deliver essential account notifications.
2. Mental Health & Student Welfare (GCU Support)
We care about the well-being of our community members. If any post or activity displays signs of severe mental distress, explicit suicidal ideation, or self-harm intentions that do not appear to be made in a humorous or joking context, we reserve the right to intervene for your safety.
- Guidance Counseling Referral: In these situations, your email address and relevant post details will be shared with the Guidance Counseling Unit (GCU) so that qualified professionals can reach out and offer you the proper assistance and support.
3. Free Speech & Prohibited Malicious Content
DLSU Forums supports free speech and open discussion among students. You are free to share your thoughts, opinions, and feedback. However, free speech does not extend to illegal or malicious content.
Zero Tolerance Policy: The following material is strictly prohibited on this platform:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or explicit exploitation of minors.
- Pornographic or sexually explicit content.
- Threats of violence, active shooter threats, or plans to harm the campus and its students/staff.
- Severe malicious harassment, illegal activities, or explicit safety threats.
4. Enforcement, SDFU, & Legal Consequences
Posting any prohibited or malicious content listed above will result in immediate termination of your account access. Furthermore:
- Violators will be immediately reported to the Student Discipline Formation Unit (SDFU) for disciplinary action under school rules.
- If the post involves severe legal violations or threats to safety, account details and relevant data will be turned over to law enforcement authorities.
- Depending on the severity of the offense, violators may be reported to both the SDFU and law enforcement simultaneously.
5. Account Responsibility
Because login is handled via authentication with your @dlsu.edu.ph address, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your DLSU school account. Actions performed under your logged-in account remain your responsibility.
